Collage

My collages are playful scenes assembled from the vintage print materials I unearth from junk shops, thrift stores, and the trash. They have no profound meaning. I love looking through old magazines and catalogs, then meticulously cutting and arranging them. I first started making collages in the early ’90s when I found a stack of old magazines in my parents’ basement and borrowed my mom’s X-ACTO knife. 29.6 years later, I still haven’t returned her X-ACTO knife.
