If you don’t listen to WFMU, you aren’t cool! If you do, but haven’t pledged, you suck! Go pledge now.
Alright, perhaps I’m exaggerating a bit. I listen, but I’m not cool. I haven’t pledged yet, and when I do, I will still suck. I’ll just suck less.
WFMU is one of the last great radio stations out there—KPFA being another one. Over the past seven years, it has been an audio companion of mine while I work—hogging up the bandwidth at work and at home. It’s helped me through many projects, introduced me to tons of new music, and kept my ears properly titillated. I owe it more than I can afford.
If you have some extra cash, how about buying some work and/or hiring me so I can get a cat, buy a much needed new Mac, or payoff my operation.
