More Magpie
I’m happy to report Magpie is loving her new home and is very happy. She really likes to eat and it shows — that’s not just a lot of fur. But, she also likes to play and so do I. Hopefully, with all that playing and eating right, she’ll get rid of those extra pounds and get her girlish figure back in no time.
As promised, here are some better photographs of her (she really likes the rocking chair in my bedroom).
This morning she woke me up by pressing her front paws up and down my legs — it was like a cat massage. I think she knew I was oversleeping and didn’t want me to be late for work. When I got home after work, she greeted me at the door with a few meows and we talked about each other’s day. Yeah, it’s great to live with something living again. Pinky is great and all, but she never does anything — she’s just eye candy.

I love her big paws – God, she gorgeous. Is Pinky jealous? Whenever I bring home a new friend there’s always a big hullabaloo as the assorted resident characters try to figure out how it changes their social hierarchy. Fortunately my two main guys, Pumpkinhead and Pumpkinhead, set the tone for everyone else and they are always loving and welcoming of newcomers.
I am so happy for you both!

Yawn… I just woke up from a nap. I lied down on the couch and Magpie watched me for about five minutes. Then, she jumped off her perch and ran over to me. She sprawled out on top of me and took a nap with me for about an hour.
I’m amazed at how quickly she’s adapting to her new home and to me. She’s doesn’t hide under the bed or couch anymore. I no longer need my alarm clock because I have a fury one now: every morning, around 7:30, she kneads me with her front paws.
Yeah, I guess she does have some big paws and she is one fine lookin’ feline.
She’s hard to photograph because she blends into everything and tends to hangout in dark areas.
I think Pinky’s a little jealous. Mostly because I don’t groom her like I groom Magpie.
