Feed Me!

My creativity needs to be fed so I can digest it and defecate new work. Ugh, that’s corny and vulgar. What I mean is I’m in the mood where I want to consume books, movies, music, exhibits, etc. instead of produce. Any suggestions you, my dearest reader, may have would be much appreciated.

Here’s a list of what I’ve recently consumed:

Wristcutters: A Love Story
Suicide and Tom Waits, ’nuf said.
No Country for Old Men
I didn’t like it as much as everyone is raving about it. On a related note, Cormac McCarthy, the author of the book the movie is based on, also wrote The Road. A few people at work read it, and it sounds right up my alley.
Control
Black and white and lovely.
Textpattern Solutions
Geeky stuff. They final came out with a book for the CMS that powers this site. It would have saved a lot of time and frustration if I had this before I built this site.
Flash CS3 Professional Bible
More geeky stuff. I’m teaching myself Flash.
The Elements of Typographic Style
Typography geek stuff. This doesn’t count because I’m always reading it.
Futurama: Bender’s Big Score
I had no idea they made a movie. I saw it over the weekend. Better than The Simpsons Movie? Maybe.
Trailer Park Boys: The Movie
That’s some funny shit.
Idiocracy
Brilliant!
Mad Men
I’ve seen a couple episodes. Sexy dames and dapper men smoking and drinking at a Madison Avenue ad agency in the ’60s.
Decked Out
An exhibit of snowboard graphics along side the original artwork used to create them at the Firehouse Gallery. Good but too small (as usual). I bought one of the exhibit posters. Burton Snowboards unveiled their Andy Warhol line of products and I vomited a little in my mouth.

OK, that’s enough. That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.
