Today I spent the afternoon antiquing with Undead Molly. It was the most fun I’ve had in a very long time (I really need to get out more).

One of the places we went to was Five Corners Antiques (11 Maple St., Essex Junction, VT), which is one of the greatest places on earth. They have so many interesting things there. I always walk out with something and this time wasn’t any different, but I’d have just as much fun if I didn’t buy anything.

Antique Bed Pan

I have so many ideas for this bed pan (in addition to using it for what it was made for): make it into a picture frame; sign it with a fictitious name and display it as art like Marcel Duchamp’s Fountain); or use it to hold dip (black bean dip perhaps) at my next house party. The latter is least likely since I don’t know enough people to have house parties.

Antique Hook

I don’t know what I’ll do with this hook, but I’d think twice about breaking into my home while I sleep. I bet I’ll accidently hurt myself within the next few days.

Five Corners Antiques also has a nice collection of creepy dolls.
