Eskimo Throat Singing
Holy fucking shit, check this out…
I’ve heard of Tuvan throat singing, also known as overtone singing, but never heard of Eskimo throat singing until I saw Wristcutters — seriously, that movie is great and I’m not the only one who thinks so, go see it now.
Seeing stuff like this makes me want to get back into making music. Someday I’ll have the time, energy, and resources.
Thanks for the link James.

I Can't Think of a Title
I can’t use my car for awhile, I only like really old jazz, I’m broke, and I don’t think my phone works anymore but it’s all good ‘cause I’ve been blasting Tom Waits all bloody day and my neighbors probably hate me—more than usually.
I wish I watched TV because I might have seen this—gawd bless youtube:
It seems like he’s doing a White Stripes thing of playing part of one song, then another, and then back again. Speaking of which, the new White Stripes song sounds like four different songs.
I’m going to go make chili, make noise, and play with spray paint.

Electric Alice
I’m really diggin’ Nick Cave’s new band Grinderman and this song. As soon as the record shop opens tomorrow, I’m buying their album—I’ll find another way to eat. Warren Ellis looks crazy in this video.
And for the hell of it, here’s an old, hilarious Bad Seeds video with Blixa Bargeld—who likes my Duchamp t-shirt as much as I do and sent me a lovely Christmas present, Danke Herr Bargeld.
