2008 VIFF Poster
I’ve been extremely busy the last few weeks because I’m helping the Vermont International Film Festival again this year. I’ve logged an average of 40 hours a week — that’s in addition to the 40+ hours at my full-time gig.
I designed and built their website, which looks the same as last year (for now), but it has a lot more functionality — it’s the most complicated website I’ve ever built. I’m also designing all of their print materials, like the festival program and poster. The festival program is due at the printer on Monday and I’ve barely started working on it — AHHHHHHH!!!! The poster, however, is done and I just picked it up from the printer about an hour ago. Now that it is officially finished, I thought I’d take a break and share it with you, my faithful readers.
I have to get back to work and perform a miracle. More Coffee? Yes, please.

That looks great! You should anonymously alert that group of reactionary mental health advocate people that the film festival’s posters promote self mutilation. Then they’ll make a big flap and you’ll get all kinds of free publicity.
P.S. I hope you are eating food and drinking water and taking care of yourself, young man! Don’t make me go all mother hen on your ass.

Thank you. I love making posters — it’s the main reason I helped with the festival. I didn’t alert anyone about the its promotion of self-mutation, but it was shown on the local news a lot last night as part of a story about the festival.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m taking care of myself. Coffee is a beverage and food, right? Now that things have calmed down I’ve been going to bed early and sleeping a lot.
I never no what to do with myself after I finish a big project. I need to find a another project to absorb me while I’m motivated. Luckily, I have a bunch of things I want to do.
